Valença (Portuguese pronunciation: [vaˈlẽsɐ]) is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. Its population was estimated at 76,869 in 2020 and its area is 1,305 square kilometres (504 sq mi). The city is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Valença.
