Questions

Do I need an API key?
No. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor all use OAuth — you paste one URL, sign in, and approve access. API keys exist only for clients that cannot do OAuth.
Is it free?
Connecting is free. The connector works on the free tier, which includes one trip; Pro raises that along with the AI features.
What can it see?
Only your own trips, and only after you approve access. It cannot see other people’s trips, and you can revoke access at any time from your settings.
Does it change my trips?
Only when you ask it to. It can add stops, reorder days and create trips — every change lands on the real trip, so you will see it next time you open the planner.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol: an open standard that lets an AI client talk to an outside service. It is what makes one URL enough — the client discovers what the server can do rather than being configured by hand.
