Studénka (Czech pronunciation: [ˈstudɛːŋka]; German: Stauding) is a town in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 9,200 inhabitants. The town is located on the Oder River in the Moravian Gate lowland, on both sides of the historical border between Moravia and Czech
