About Sirghāyā

Serghaya or Sirghaya (Arabic: سرغايا, romanized: Saraghāyā) is a small town located in the Damascus countryside in south west Syria. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Serghaya had a population of 7,501 in the 2004 census. Its inhabitants are predominantly Sunni Muslims.
