About Poggio di Chiesanuova

Chiesanuova (Romagnol: Cisanòva; lit. 'New church') is one of the nine castelli of San Marino. It has a population of 1,191 inhabitants (January 2025) in an area of 5.46 km2. The castello is governed by a Captain and a seven-member Junta, with Marino Rosti serving as Captain since 2020. Formerly known as Pennarossa
