Opunake High School is a state secondary school for years 9 to 13 boys and girls in Ōpunake, New Zealand. During a Saturday night, early October 1982, all but one block had burnt down, thus the school had all but two classrooms rebuilt. It is not known how the school burnt down, but it is believed that it was caused by arson.
