About Montcuq

Montcuq (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃kyk] or [mɔ̃ky]; Lengadocian: Montcuc) is a town and former commune in the Lot department in south-western France, lying 25 kilometres (16 mi) outside Cahors. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Montcuq-en-Quercy-Blanc. Its residents are known as Montcuquois. The
