The city is served by the broad-gauge General Bartolomé Mitre Railway, connecting the cities of Córdoba, Rosario, and Buenos Aires. In addition, geographically speaking, the city is situated halfway between the two metropolitan areas along Route 9. It is 200 kilometers southeast of Córdoba and 200 kilometers northwest of Rosario.
