Visone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Turin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Alessandria. Its name becomes from the homonymous Visone creek, that flows into its territory and enters Bormida river not far from the village. Visone borders the following municipalities: Acqui Terme, Grognardo, Morbello, Morsasco, Prasco, and Strevi.
