Suomusjärvi (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈsuo̯musˌjærʋi]) is a former municipality of Finland. It was consolidated with Salo on January 1, 2009. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Southwest Finland region. The municipality had a population of 1,321 (December 31, 2004) and covered an area of 176.53 km2 of which 16.38 km2 is water. The population density was 8.25 inhabitants per km2. Its administrative center is Kitula. The municipality was unilingually Finnish.
