Sévérac-le-Château (French: [seveʁak lə ʃɑto]; Languedocien: Severac del Castèl) is a former commune in the Aveyron department in Occitania, southern France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Sévérac-d'Aveyron. The Château de Sévérac is a 13th-century castle that dominates the town. It is open to the public.
