Rossosz

Rossosz [ˈrɔsːɔʂ] is a village in Biała County, Lublin Voivodeship, Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Rossosz. Rossosz dates back to the 13th century, when it was a small settlement, which in the early 14th century became a royal property. In the early 15th century, it was handed over to the Polubinski family, and probably in the mid-16th century, it was granted town charter, with a permission for a weekly market and two annual fairs.
