Pointe-à-Pitre (French pronunciation: [pwɛ̃tapitʁ]; Guadeloupean Creole: Pwentapit, [pwɛ̃tapit], or simply Lapwent, [lapwɛ̃t]) is the second most populous commune of Guadeloupe (after Les Abymes).
