It is composed of twelve villages: Bădila, Curcănești, Lunca Frumoasă, Oleșești, Pârjolești, Pârscov, Robești, Runcu, Târcov, Tocileni, Trestieni, and Valea Purcarului. Pârscov is the birthplace of the Romanian poet Vasile Voiculescu.
