Llannerch-y-medd is a small village and community on the Isle of Anglesey in North West Wales. In 2011, it had a population of 1,360, of whom more than 70% were Welsh speaking. It is historically a market town. The village is situated near the centre of Anglesey, close to the large water supply reservoir, Llyn Alaw, and is believed to have an ancient foundation.
