Kitama

The Kutama (Berber: Ikutamen; Arabic: كتامة, romanized: Kutāma) were a Berber tribe in northern Algeria classified among the Berber confederation of the Bavares. The Kutama are attested much earlier, in the form Koidamousii by the Greek geographer Ptolemy.
