Garça is a town located in the west-central part of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The population is 44,409 (2020 est.) in an area of 556 km2. Established on October 4, 1924, it was one of the cities that had been part of the coffee circle, in the beginning of the 20th century. Garça is known for its coffee plantations, the iron line city and by the Cerejeiras Festival ("cherry tree festival") that takes place every year. The average altitude is 663 m (2,175 ft) above sea level.
