Domodossola (Italian: [ˌdɔmoˈdɔssola]), locally also Domo (Ossolano: Dòmm), is a city and comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in the region of Piedmont, northern Italy. The Peruvian aviation pioneer, Jorge Chávez, died here in 1910 in an airplane crash.
