Cospicua (Italian) or Bormla (Maltese, [ˈbɔrmlɐ]) is a double-fortified harbour city in the Port Region of Malta. It served as the principal port of Phoenician Malta and, through Greek, Latin, and Arabic, may have given its name to the island and country.
