Ishkashim (Dari: اشکاشم, romanized: Iškāšim; Iskashimi: Šəkošəm; also transliterated Eshkashem) is a border town in Badakhshan Province of Afghanistan, which has a population of around 12,120 people. The town serves as the capital of Ishkashim District.
